From December 2011 to April of 2012, Deborah and I went on our longest stretch of travel so far: including Christmas in Alberta with family, we were away four and a half months, door-to-door. It included a figure 8 of the North and South Islands of New Zealand over a seven week visit; a week in Fiji; and the U.S. south and southwest cities of Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the west coast of California including Yosemite and the Sequoia National Forest, Route 66, the Grand Canyon, Tucson, Las Cruces, San Antonio, Galveston, New Orleans, Memphis, and Nashville (the last seven we called the "musical cities" leg of our tour).
This is a click-through link to our travel blog, which we called Kiwi Dreams: http://debnsteve2012.blogspot.ca/.
The entries - there are a total of 49 - appear in reverse order, with the most recent one at the top. The earlier entries are listed in a menu on the right side, called "Archives"; the first entry can be found at the bottom of the page you get to by clicking through to "January 2012".
Within each blog entry are links to slideshows of the photos we collected as we travelled.
